Position: Reception and Business Support Assistant 
Reports to: Business Support Manager

Days of Work: Mon – Fri

Hours of Work: 8:30am – 5:30pm
Salary: £25,500
Location: Hereford
Working Arrangements: Office Based

We are seeking a friendly, organised, and proactive Receptionist and Business Support professional to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, while also providing essential administrative and operational support across the business. You will play a key role in ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Reception Duties:
• Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
• Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence; direct enquiries to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain the reception area, meeting rooms, and common spaces to ensure a tidy, professional environment.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
• First Aid and Fire Warden Duties
• Downloading Audio Recordings

Business Support Duties:
• Provide administrative support to departments including filing, scanning, and data entry.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments
• Maintain office, kitchen and stationary supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
• Support onboarding processes for new employees (preparing desks, supplies, and welcome materials).
• Assist with company events, client visits, and internal communications.

• High level of professionalism and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise under pressure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Discretion when handling confidential information.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or business support role preferred.
• Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles is a plus.
